How Working with a TSP Works

NRCS allows landowners and producers to hire approved TSPs to deliver technical assistance.

Step 1: Sign Up with NRCS

You visit your local NRCS Service Center, apply for a program (like EQIP), and request a TSP for technical assistance.

Step 2 - We Get to Work

I conduct site visits, collect data, and develop all required technical documents for your plans. Including designs, maps, and specs tailored to your operation.

Step 3 - NRCS Reviews & Approves

I submit the technical work to NRCS for their review and quality assurance. I handle revisions and back-and-forth.

Step 4 - You Get Funded & Certified

Once practices are installed, myself or the NRCS conservationist certify completion of your plan to trigger your cost-share payment from NRCS.

Your soil is your foundation.

BGSS provides the insights and plans you need to protect your natural resources, improve plant health, and meet USDA-NRCS program requirements.
